With nearly 14 years in the wine industry, Ben Straw started in retail with an independent wine merchant, eventually branching into hospitality and offering tastings, training, and corporate events. In 2015, he founded Lincoln Wine School, providing WSET courses to Lincolnshire and beyond.
Ben holds the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits, a qualification achieved by around 12,000 people worldwide. As a Certified Educator for the Education Trust, he travels nationally to assist other Programme Providers in the UK.

Experience a curated journey through six distinct craft beers from Ferry Ales, guided by John, the brewery’s owner and head brewer. Gain valuable insights into the brewing process and the unique flavors each beer offers, presented in a straightforward manner by a seasoned expert.
Adding a savory touch to the evening, Fiona, a true Yorkshire native, ensures that hunger is kept at bay with her homemade pie and peas.

Discover Ferry Ales Brewery, an award-winning establishment in Fiskerton, just outside Lincoln.
